Mr. Hamilton co-founded Laird Superfood and has served as a member of our Board of Directors since its founding in 2015. Mr. Hamilton has been focused on bringing his expertise and passion for fitness and nutrition to the masses. Mr. Hamilton is an American athlete best known for his accomplishments in big wave surfing. Over the past 25 years, Mr. Hamilton has also been hailed as an innovator in several crossover board sports, including tow-in surfing, stand-up paddle boarding and hydrofoil boarding. Mr. Hamilton also co-created XPT Extreme Performance Training, a performance lifestyle brand, in 2016 to focus on his philosophies in exercise and lifestyle.

Andy Judd is an experienced leader focused on building exceptional teams and go-to-market models that help build and scale brands and businesses. He has led teams across sales, R&D, brand marketing, insights, e-commerce, digital and social media, and creative services from large strategic consumer goods enterprises to emerging high-growth brands.

He joined Laird Superfood as Chief Commercial Officer in April 2022 overseeing the entire growth agenda across sales, marketing, CX, and R&D functions. Prior to joining LSF, Andy served CMO of Yasso, the fastest growing frozen novelty, shepherding the brand to top 5 share in the category. He has previously served as CMO to ONE Brands, which was one of the fastest growing protein bar brands in the US ultimately leading to a successful exit to the Hershey Company in 2019. Prior to ONE, he was VP Marketing for the Boulder Brands business unit of Pinnacle Foods leading all marketing functions of a high growing portfolio of plant-based and gluten free brands. He previously led the management of the So Delicious brand at WhiteWave, where he also spent time helping to transform the organic and non-dairy yogurt business into one of the fastest growing yogurt companies in the US. Prior to joining WhiteWave, he served as Category Director for ice cream, iced coffee, blended beverages and value added milk portfolio at Saputo Dairy Foods and Dean Foods. Andy started his career at Campbell’s Soup Company where during his seven‐year tenure at Campbell’s, he led marketing of the Campbell’s iconic R&W condensed soup brand, Campbell’s kids portfolio, the development of Hispanic marketing, and the acquisition of Wolfgang Puck Soups and Sauces.

He lives just outside of Boulder, with his wife, Kelly, and their 4 kids, on their farm, Hope Hill Farm. When he’s not chasing his kids, he is an avid runner and loves to hike Colorado 14ers.
